PRE-ORDER Sheep Yarn To Go Carousel (no wrist strap)

I purchased the carousel because I thought it might come in handy. Did I absolutely need it? No. However, now I would not give it up for anything. I love that my yarn doesn't roll around, but sits nicely on the carousel and just spins as I need it. It works perfectly. I also bought the wrist strap but have not had an opportunity to use it as yet.
Shipping was quick and it came packaged so beautifully. Highly recommend!

Totally love the yarn to-go carousel!! I have used it constantly since it arrived.

So handy to keep with smaller projects in individual bags. Keeping my yarn neatly organized throughout each project and very portable for a little knitting on the run!

I like this gadget on the whole. As others have noted, I found the upright shaft a bit wide, but I guess it needs to be for different sized fingers. I colored mine with Sharpie Creative Markers, and love how it now looks.

I bought it a while ago and finally decided to use it. I bought a few yarn cakes and I was pretty sure they’d fit perfectly, they did. I’ve pulled the yarn from the outside and inside of the cake. I think I prefer outside but I needed the inside color so I did it again. It works perfectly. I have the wrist strap. I haven’t used it but I have it!

accommodate a taller (larger) cake.

The game has been changed. Before I purchased this, I was absolutely blowing out my shoulder when pulling out more yarn but I was able to crochet for hours today without feeling fatigued. Thank you for this!! It made my ball winder work more efficiently too!

This is great! Super handy. I have it in lazy Susan mode for some socks that I’m knitting. I usually pull from the middle of my cake, but this yarn was sticking to itself. This has completely mitigated the problem of my yarn cake bouncing around because I am pulling from the outside.

The only thing I would change would be to make it a little taller. I have to smush down into my yarn to attach the strap. But it is wonderful!

But the base of the spindle has broken and it won’t hold in a travel position. I have pictures. How can I get them to you?

I love the magnetic feature and the spinning of the yarn as I knit. I’ll be ordering these for my yarn shop.

Although many of my cakes of yarn will not fit over the top of the carousel, it is lovely to just place the cake on as much of the carousel as possible and have it smoothly spin the yarn fluidly to the needles. It will be worth tinkering with creating cakes to allow my yarns to slip easily onto the stem and use the strap. Whee!

Used it as soon as I could. Its holding yarn for my very first sock project. I loved being able to take this with me on my last trip I just went on. Easy to breakdown to pack in suitcase and then put together during trip. I could easily put it away for the night or off the table when we needed space. Its such a great item and love how smooth it turns on the carousel base.

I ordered my 3rd and 4th of these carousels! I love how versatile they are. Having the option of setting them on a surface or hanging them from the strap is unbeatable! Makes any project easy to work on wherever you are! These have become my go-to accessory! Thank you for such a great product!

Perfect for controlling yarn at knitting group, on transit & at home. Transports projects neatly in minimal space & breaks down small to store, tho I’ve only stored it one day so far cuz it’s just so useful! I love using my Carousel sitting on my desk or an end table! It turns so smoothly and doesn’t have nearly as much yarn “unspun” waiting to be knitted as it does when the yarn is in a project bag or rolling around on the couch. Traveling a lot in the next few weeks so I can’t wait to use it in the wrist strap!

Love it but the magnets came out and I had to glue it all back together. I’m nervous to take it out of the house for fear of losing the lazy Susan base.
