This ruler is one of those tools that you wish you had invented. It is super handy to use, and will keep frustration at bay when you can’t find your ruler or your measuring tape. I anticipate lots of knitting projects that will benefit from the use of this handy ruler.
The Work Until Measuring Tape is so far off from accuracy it isn’t useful to me. I wanted to knit until 2 inches. I placed the loop on my needle between 2 stitches as per instructions. Just looking at the distance drop between the loop and 2 inch lock appeared greater than 2 inches. The measurement between the loop on my needle and the tape locked at 2 inches was really 2 3/8 inches. How is this a useful tool? Is there a use secret?

The measurement starts from the cross on the stitch marker and goes until the end of the tape and is 12.5' / 32cm long.

I absolutely love this new tool. I have purchased two of them. I love to see how my work is progressing without having to pull out a tape measure.
This is a great tool. I love that I can hang it off my needles and measure as I knit without having to dig around in my knitting bag to find the measuring tape. With is tool you never over or under knit rows.
The measuring tape is a very convenient tool because it is always connected to my knit project. I can quickly check my progress in reaching the required number of inches.
I could hardly wait to get this in my hands; I literally took it out of the wrapping and put it on my knitting needles as I was knitting a pair of socks and they were not the same length.
I bought this from my local yarn store and was SO looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, it broke on my first use when trying to move the slider. Hey, things happen, so I put a Little glue on it. That worked for a few days when the measuring tape started to tear. So I used a tiny piece of tape to repair that. Alas, the tape wasn’t enough and today the measuring tape split not two pieces. I also see that the other end of the measuring tape is coming apart as well. I’m not sure if I just got a defective one or if this is how it is. But I’m willing to try again. If it stays together it’s a very handy tool.

I bought three measuring tapes. I love the idea but think they could be better quality. A flimsy. Also, they should be longer. 13" is not long enough. The sweater I'm working on calls for 16.5" length. I was looking forward to using the measuring tape on but can't. 😥

I'm so happy you love the idea of the Work Until Measuring Tape!
Since the measuring tape measures up to 12.5', to keep track of the length and to be able to knit further while measuring, you can place a stich marker once you've knitted to 12.5', then continue knitting until you get to the length that you want.
I'm also so sorry, I understand if you're not liking the quality of the tape.

Perfect for my sweater and tee knitting so that I can easily see how much more I need to knit before starting the hem.
This really is a great invention. However, less than a week later, the measuring tape split lengthways all the way down the middle.
OMG. This is exactly what I never knew I needed. LOL. It makes it so simple to see where you are in your project length without having to stop and find a measuring tape. I tend to knit past where I should. Now, with this as my end of round marker, I can quickly see. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I think there was a production glitch on the first "measuring until tape" received - it wasn't sturdy, but Twice Sheared Sheep replaced and so far the replacement looks solid and works as expected. Grateful for the tool and for their help with the replacement! Recommend shop.
I'm using my tape for a sweater and I love not having to interrupt my flow every 10 rows to measure my work. I don't know how I've gone this long without one.
This is so easy and fun. I wanted it as soon as I saw it and then accidentally ordered 2. Well, who has only one project going at a time that needs to be measured? Not me. Love it.

What are your shipping methods and times?
All packages are shipped from our hands to yours from our studio here in lovely Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊
Advent Boxes
Advent Boxes will begin shipping out the first week of November using UPS Ground shipping unless otherwise requested.

How are returns & exchanges handled?
