I’ll begin by saying I am a knitter and had a pair of 3-inch sewing scissors taken at Security in Switzerland (USA TSA rules did not apply). That left me needing a way to cut yarn that would be safe to fly with internationally. This multi-tool does that and so much more!
First, it contains a protected cutting blade that swivels out like a jack knife, with a storage compartment below for the included tapestry needle, and space for a few additional needles. In addition, it has a second compartment that fits stitch markers, protectors for the needle points, and my small nail file. The cover has a gauge square, very accurate grooves to measure needle and crochet hook sizes, and a metal loop to securely attach it to my knitting bag. There is a retractable measuring tape and two imbedded magnets that keep the two storage lids closed, but also keep my metal needle from rolling away when I am switching strands to weave in. The finished dark brown wood looks and feels nice, and the size is small enough to travel easily while being chunky enough to hold and operate comfortably. I am very happy with this purchase!
This is a nice little storage box, but the outer lid with the stitch and needle gauges has warped up away from the rest of the box, meaning it catches on yarn and other things in your project bag. I've only used it once before it warped.

The Stitch Scout does have slots for size 1 and size 2 needles that also give the needle size in millimeters. So the size 1 needle is a size 2.25mm needle as well. The size 2 needle is also a 2.75 mm needle.

I treated myself to the Stitch Scout for Mother's Day and I am so glad that I did.
It's great having one little box that includes everything I need for on the go project making.
It truly has everything (as long as I remember to put my stitch markers and tapestry needles back!)
I found myself multiple times on vacation this summer going, "oh I forgot to bring... oh wait!" and grabbing my little multi-tool to save the day.
Unfortunately the tape measure broke within days of using.
Mine came without the repair hook. The closure is very loose, the tool opens up in my bag so I don’t really carry it with me. Great concept looks nice but could use some robustness improvements.

Very useful & already much admired at knitting group
Unfortunately it has a rough unfinished exterior.
Overall it has everything a knitter needs -
This is such a handy multi tool. It's compact, easy to use,and contains the basic tools I need when knitting or crocheting.
My wife loves it
Love the Gauge Checkers - they make it so much easier, even to do spot checks of a stitch change in the middle if the project. The multi-tool is also pretty handy when traveling - i don't have to carry as many little bits with me that can otherwise fall down between the seats. Any everything I have ever gotten from them has been very good quality - no cheap glues or things that break after the first use. I will always come back to them for my notions.

I just received the multi tool for knitters and it is great- has everything that I need and so easy to find in my knitting bag.
Love love love! I have had things like this in the past, but there was always a flip open compartment that my little notions would dump out. This is like a Swiss Army knife for knitters . I love it.

All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊
