Replace any regular stitch marker with your row counter and knit

When you come back to the row counter move it to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle

Once you have completed the chain (or completed a pattern repeat), move the melody clip to the next number to mark 10 rows completed (or 1 pattern repeat completed)

Easier Than Using An App On My Phone
I LOVE this row counter. When it arrived, I put it on a current project—a hat using fingering-weight yearn. I have found it far easier to keep track of my rows than using an app on my phone (which either drains the battery or required me to unlock my phone each row) or the heavy Clover-twist counter (I may or may not sometimes forget to increase rows as I finish them with the Clover counter). As I finish up a row, I just slip to the next number. So far, no forgetting to increase rows. And unlike any other markers I use with lightweight yarn, there are no not-quite-closed joins for fine yarn to slip into. It's taking me a little while to get used to using this format for row tracking but I LOVE it.

Replaced My Pen & Paper Notes
I ordered these rows counters and am so glad I did! I wasn't sure if I could really replace my pen and paper notes to help me remember where I am but these markers do just that. I Can Just Knit And Not Try To Remember Which Row I'm On
I put mine to use right away as I am knitting a pair of socks with a 10 row rib 2x2 the knit 2 rows and start all over but offset. I had a terrible time counting 10 rows even when I would mark each row on paper. With this row marker I can just knit and not try to remember which row I am on. At my age memory is not always reliable.

It's So Easy To Pick Up Where I Left Off
I absolutely love this chain row counter! If I have to walk away from my knitting, when I come back to it a quick look at the counter tells me exactly where I am. I added a stitch marker on a melody clip to show that I'm working on section 3 of the pattern, the empty melody clip on the 1 to show that I've completed one repeat of that section and on the needles is the 2 to show that I'm on row 2. It's so easy to pick up where you leave off. And the little silver fox is adorable.

I’m a new knitter and already appreciating how handy the straight line row counter is. Making my first top, I just pulled out garter stitching to a lifeline and found it easy to restart my straight line counter. Love the turquoise bead on this one, and will get the next size up with an ice cream cone. 🤗
Love this for keeping track of repeats on socks!
I tried using this but it affected my tension so I went back to my old row counter. I may try it when working in the round, but for back and forth knitting it didn't work for me.

Hands down, these row counters are best system for keeping track of your rows. Saves so much time, since I don't have to physically go back and count to make sure I'm accurate.
I love it! Use it as my beginning of the row marker. Now don't have to search for notes to mark of rows or remember to click the counter. As I end each row simply move the counter to keep track of where I am in my knitting.
No more remembering to put tick marks on a piece of paper that gets lost, counting and recounting rows, and being frustrated!! Love it and the others I got!!!

… the item was damaged in shipping. The counter rings were stretched and were almost straight, not round. I reshaped them with a large gauge knitting needle. I use the knit counters with every project.

Love this, no more trying to remember whether or not I changed my digital row counter!....and cute, too!
One of the rings bent, possibly when trying to remove from packaging. The ring is not an even circle and does not slide well on the needle. I was excited for the concept but feel the metal rings are too flimsy. They were too expensive for the quality

This is my 2nd Knitting Row Counter from Twice Sheared Sheep and I am really enjoying this tool. It is a great way to keep track of my cable pattern repeats. I was using a different row counter from TSS that had a metal charm at the end and it continuously was making a jingling/wind chime noise as I knit. Some people enjoy wind chimes but I am not one of them, I found the jingling to be quite annoying. I decided to give this row counter a try with the stone charm and it has been perfectly quiet! Peace has returned to my cable knitting :) Highly recommend, it's a super helpful tool, but choose your decoration charm with care!
I had one for the longest time and didn’t use it. Finally tried it and now I can’t live without it. I went back and ordered a few more in different sizes.

What are your shipping methods and times?
All packages are shipped from our hands to yours from our studio here in lovely Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊
Advent Boxes
Advent Boxes will begin shipping out the first week of November using UPS Ground shipping unless otherwise requested.
We want to make sure your box makes it safely into your hands, so if you need it delivered earlier or later, CLICKY HERE to contact us and let us know!
How are returns & exchanges handled?
We understand that sometimes you just don’t love things as much as you thought you would and are happy to accept returns or exchanges of merchandise within 30 days of your purchase, providing that your item is in its original, resalable condition.
