Replace any regular stitch marker with your row counter and knit

When you come back to the row counter move it to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle

Once you have completed the chain (or completed a pattern repeat), move the melody clip to the next number to mark 10 rows completed (or 1 pattern repeat completed)

Easier Than Using An App On My Phone
I LOVE this row counter. When it arrived, I put it on a current project—a hat using fingering-weight yearn. I have found it far easier to keep track of my rows than using an app on my phone (which either drains the battery or required me to unlock my phone each row) or the heavy Clover-twist counter (I may or may not sometimes forget to increase rows as I finish them with the Clover counter). As I finish up a row, I just slip to the next number. So far, no forgetting to increase rows. And unlike any other markers I use with lightweight yarn, there are no not-quite-closed joins for fine yarn to slip into. It's taking me a little while to get used to using this format for row tracking but I LOVE it.

Replaced My Pen & Paper Notes
I ordered these rows counters and am so glad I did! I wasn't sure if I could really replace my pen and paper notes to help me remember where I am but these markers do just that. I Can Just Knit And Not Try To Remember Which Row I'm On
I put mine to use right away as I am knitting a pair of socks with a 10 row rib 2x2 the knit 2 rows and start all over but offset. I had a terrible time counting 10 rows even when I would mark each row on paper. With this row marker I can just knit and not try to remember which row I am on. At my age memory is not always reliable.

It's So Easy To Pick Up Where I Left Off
I absolutely love this chain row counter! If I have to walk away from my knitting, when I come back to it a quick look at the counter tells me exactly where I am. I added a stitch marker on a melody clip to show that I'm working on section 3 of the pattern, the empty melody clip on the 1 to show that I've completed one repeat of that section and on the needles is the 2 to show that I'm on row 2. It's so easy to pick up where you leave off. And the little silver fox is adorable.

I use multiple row counters on the same piece to keep track of different cable patterns that I integrate into plainer projects like some kind of knitting Frankenstein. These are a life saver!

Love the row counter I purchased to use with my crochet. So cute!
I have been knitting with this chain on a simple mug rug with alternating yarn overs and Navy yarn. I struggle to count rows, especially with dark yarn. I have knit for years and I’m a big fan of stitch markers. I even custom design my own.
This chain is cute and lightweight and I haven’t had trouble with it snagging on my yarn. It definitely helps keep track of what row I’m on. However, there is a bit of a learning curve to get used to using it.
The 1st ring is above the #1 charm and subsequent rings are between the following numbers. Occasionally, I have to check because I can’t remember if the ring my needle is on corresponds to the number above or below it. It can be a little fiddly because you aren’t just slipping the marker from one needle to the next. Instead, you pick up the next ring below to keep up with the row count.
The project I’m working alternates k on RS, p on WS. I’ve noticed that I have to flop the chain over to the back on WS rows so it’s out of my way. I do have the chain in the middle of my work because I don’t need it to mark BOR or a specific repeat and I didn’t want it accidentally coming off when I put my work away. It may work easier at the beginning of the row. I’ll probably get a set of her cable locks for these size needles to keep the chain on the end.
All of these issues will probably get better with more practice so give these a good try before you decide they are too fiddly.

The melody clip should easily stay on the rings of the row counter until you move it.
It may be a defective melody clip and that most definitely shouldn't be happening.

I like these kind the most because there are no beads on each side of the circles that make using it awkward. Just the circles and numbers . Especially when I make socks. I don’t want a long chain hanging. I love the little turtle bling. So cute.

This is a perfect row counter. So easy to use and quicker than the traditional row counter that you have to turn. The quality is very good, not flimsy. I have several in different sizes.
I love these well made counters, especially when there are varying pattern repeats. I'll use one for the edging and another for cables or overall lace in shawls. The attached charms are varied enough to give the counters as gifts.

What are your shipping methods and times?
All packages are shipped from our hands to yours from our studio here in lovely Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊
Advent Boxes
Advent Boxes will begin shipping out the first week of November using UPS Ground shipping unless otherwise requested.

How are returns & exchanges handled?
