This carousel is fabulous. It’s ideal for those who want to pull from the outside, without twisting the yarn, or having to chase it around the house. The ball bearings make for a very smooth release of the yarn. The grips on the bottom make it sit firmly on any surface. I set it on the dash when I’m in the car (passenger of course). The handle on top makes it easy to move my project from room to room.

This yarn holder has been a game changer for taking my projects on-the-go! It has smooth spinning action, little rubber feet to keep it in place, strong magnets to hold it together, and a sturdy base to keep it from being tipped over. And it comes with a carrying case. I am incredibly pleased with my purchase, and it's sure to get a ton of use.

So practical AND lovely. Just what I needed. Tried to post a video, but phone would not cooperate.

I bought one of these a year ago and it was so handy so I bought a second one. I originally had issues because it seemed like the spinner didn't stay on but when I got the second one I realized I had put it together wrong! 🤦🏻‍♀️ The magnets are to hold it together and the little feet are so it doesn't move off a table. It's a perfect set up and so wanted to write a good review to make-up for me being a doofus the first time! I also want to note that if you do have problems, Dawn is fantastic about trying to get them fixed even if it's my own user error. 😅

I like this gadget on the whole. As others have noted, I found the upright a bit wide, but I guess it needs to be for different sized fingers. I also found the original straps a little difficult to insert and am glad to see straps with wider rings now are available.

One of the magnets came loose, and I inadvertently glued it back in backwards so the magnets repelled rather than attracting each other, so be careful about this if one of your magnets comes loose from its little hole. I had to throw out my first one because I was unable to extricate the backwards-glued magnet, and ordered a replacement.

I colored mine with Sharpie Creative Markers and am very happy with it now.

Who knew that I needed such a cool tool. I haven’t stopped using it since I received it. I just bought another one for a Christmas gift. Then I was thinking, what if I have to have two balls of yarn going at the same time…. I think I need to buy another one! Many thanks.

I love this tool! I’ve used a yarn bowl for years but this is so much better - no snags, so bouncing or escaping yarn balls. Continuous knitting without tugging. I’m thinking I may need another for colorwork.

I have other yarn carousels that have a tall spindle and the yarn always got caught. This one it slides right over! Brilliant! Hoping to get another one soon!

Honestly, I saw this and primarily bought it because every other thing I’ve purchased on this site has been cute or surprisingly handy or both. So I took a shot. It is hands down the best non-needle, non-yarn knitting purchase I have ever made. It make knitting faster and easier, the pull is smooth and reliable. It has sped up my knitting. Highly recommend.

I love everything that I’ve purchased from Twiceshearedsheep but the one thing that I use every time I knit is the yarn carousel. I use it at home, on road trips, and on flights. It’s perfect! I had to get a 2nd one so I could have 2 projects going on at the same time. Highly recommend!

This is my second Yarn To Go Carousel. I use the two together instead of getting a bulky double one. I loved the first one so much. It works so well. There’s no space between the top piece & the bottom piece, so the yarn can’t get caught. I have one from a good company, but there’s a space, and when the yarn gets in there, it gets twisted, and is very hard to get out. I’ve replaced it with this Mandala Yarn To Go Carousel, and my knitting & crocheting life is much happier. I love that it’s so easy to take apart, and to store it in its little bag. It hardly takes up any space.
