The directions were confusing.

Even a first time sock knitter can understand this pattern

I've always been afraid of socks (for no logical reason) but I decided to try knitting socks for Twice Sheared Sheep's Bingo game. The instructions made it so easy that I am now well on my way to a pair of socks. It's amazing how motivating a Bingo game can be!!!

Doesn’t work for me

I make cuff down socks. I use double point needles. I was interested in the pattern so I could figure out how to make my son (size 15) socks. Not worth the hassle.

Would have liked more detail in directions eg at last wrap and turn in round 1 after heel

Hi Susan!
Thanks so much for your feedback, we appreciate it so much!

I'm always happy to help!

Here are some specific videos on wrap and turn:
Knit side: https://vimeo.com/834513329
Purl side: https://vimeo.com/834559776

Mary Beth Temple from The Knitting Circle did a fantastic video using our no gauge sock pattern and walks through each step. The heel portion is at about the 16 minute mark:

For the reverse shaping, knit back to the last stitch you wrapped and pick up the wrap and knit it together with that stitch. Then wrap the next stitch. Do the same on the purl side. On the next row pick up both wraps and knit them with the stitch. Repeat this for the purl side and all the other rows in the reverse shaping section.

Does this help? 😊
