When you come back to the row counter move it to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle

Once you have completed the chain (or completed a pattern repeat), move the melody clip to the next number to mark 10 rows completed (or 1 pattern repeat completed)

Easier Than Using An App On My Phone
I LOVE this row counter. When it arrived, I put it on a current project—a hat using fingering-weight yearn. I have found it far easier to keep track of my rows than using an app on my phone (which either drains the battery or required me to unlock my phone each row) or the heavy Clover-twist counter (I may or may not sometimes forget to increase rows as I finish them with the Clover counter). As I finish up a row, I just slip to the next number. So far, no forgetting to increase rows. And unlike any other markers I use with lightweight yarn, there are no not-quite-closed joins for fine yarn to slip into. It's taking me a little while to get used to using this format for row tracking but I LOVE it.

Replaced My Pen & Paper Notes
I ordered these rows counters and am so glad I did! I wasn't sure if I could really replace my pen and paper notes to help me remember where I am but these markers do just that. I Can Just Knit And Not Try To Remember Which Row I'm On
I put mine to use right away as I am knitting a pair of socks with a 10 row rib 2x2 the knit 2 rows and start all over but offset. I had a terrible time counting 10 rows even when I would mark each row on paper. With this row marker I can just knit and not try to remember which row I am on. At my age memory is not always reliable.

It's So Easy To Pick Up Where I Left Off
I absolutely love this chain row counter! If I have to walk away from my knitting, when I come back to it a quick look at the counter tells me exactly where I am. I added a stitch marker on a melody clip to show that I'm working on section 3 of the pattern, the empty melody clip on the 1 to show that I've completed one repeat of that section and on the needles is the 2 to show that I'm on row 2. It's so easy to pick up where you leave off. And the little silver fox is adorable.

I got a bunch of knitting accessories (stitch counters, row counters, gauge, etc.), and all I am mostly very pleased. Here are some details:
- The cable/needle locks are a GAME CHANGER. One thing you could do is indicate that all of them work for the needle size and all sizes below. If you don’t mind a larger lock on small needles, you don’t need multiple sizes.
- The stitch gauge is wonderful and spot on - very easy to use
- The row counters are very nice and also attractive (have not used yet, but I did test them out - they will be great)
- The numbered stitch counters. They are TINY. They are also fully silver and the numbers are only etched into the metal, so they are really hard to read. I had no idea just how tiny they were until I got them. Also, help people who don’t pay close enough attention and state explicitly that the base numbers are not included in the extension package (yes, I know, this should be self-explanatory, but still….)

The butterfly is beautiful. It adds a little whimsy to my knitting as I move it along as a row counter.
I ordered it when, part way through a sock project where I was down to 1 row counter for two socks, I saw this in my emails. I ordered it (pretty sweet) but then it went to St Paul, MN,(? How is that anywhere near a line between Idaho and Kansas?) for several days. So I actually finished the project the day it got here and haven't yet cast on a new project to try it out. I waited a bit before writing this review to see if I would have time to start a new project, but I'm in the last few weeks of the semester and in an all out sprint for the finish. I'll cast on a new project after finals and try my new pretty out. (P.S. Lost my melody clip first thing. I know it's on the craft table somewhere, just don't know where. So there's that.)

I’ve struggled using other counters - this one is right there serving as a marker knitting in the round and making counting rows easy peasy!
I just love this tool! What a magnificent tool! I can keep track of what row I’m on especially with intricate multiple color patterns and lace patterns. No need to interrupt my knitting to write down the row I’m on. I do a lot of sweaters in the round and a counter on the needle is impossible. This tool also can mark the beginning of each row. This item is definitely a must! So far I have two of them, as I always have several knitting projects going at once. I will probably be purchasing more.
You never realize how much time you spend marking the row count on your manual counter or an app until you get this chain row counter and just slip your needle into the next ring to keep count. So simple. Someone was a genius.

I used these on a second sock — goodbye second sock syndrome! It was so much fun moving the counter at each round that I couldn’t wait to get to it. That sock flew off the needles! So, count me a big fan of this product! Only reason I didn’t give it five stars was that it was a bit tricky moving to the next link on the counter — but I’m sure I’ll become more proficient with use.

The chain row counter is a game changer for crochet! No more making tallies for each row and then forgetting to make the tally- I just change the number when I replace my stitch marker.
This blue butterfly touched my heart. I have it in a medium size, but the chain, I find that I like the circle row counters better. I got the smaller size to go in my gnome project bag for when I knit gnomes. Your row counters are great, especially when I'm not working on a pattern on Knit Companion. I like how they slide from one needle to the other with ease and don't snag on my project. I have gotten many of your items and have not been disappointed yet.

Twice Sheared Sheep (TSS) Chain Row Counter is ingenious! I absolutely LOVE my row counter and I'm blown away by the usefulness and practicality of this simple item/concept. I use to use the clicker and have never counted my rows accurately, always missing some clicks. The TSS counter is a counter and beginning row marker in one. Its also beautiful!

This row counter is my favorite! It is a stitch marker as well. I really like that it lives in my project and it can't be accidentally adjusted. I intend to purchase more for my different size needles. I am currently working on socks. My first sock, I was able to no for sure how many rows I knitted (no more guessing). So now I know exactly how many rows to knit for the cuff, leg and foot sections! I also like that the row counter does not snag. I'm still trying to master the technique of using my needles to adjust to the next ring on the counter. Thanks again for such a great product!

All packages are shipped from our hands to yours from our studio here in lovely Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊

Advent Boxes will begin shipping out the first week of November using UPS Ground shipping unless otherwise requested.

How are returns & exchanges handled?
