How It Works

Place the yarn spindle through the yarn base

Place your center wound yarn cake on the spindle.

To knit from your chair:
Place the yarn base on the table carousel and it will spin with each light tug of the yarn.

To take your yarn on the go:
Attach the wrist strap to the top loop. Lift the yarn off of the table base and hang it from your wrist.
Pro tip! Hang from the wrist NOT holding your yarn for easy no-tangle knitting on the go.

Worked exactly as expected. It only had one thing wrong with it, my Standard Poodle thought it was a chew toy. My fault for not removing it from her reach. I ordered another.
I ordered a second "yarn to go carousel" because I use them so much. Such a handy, and well made tool!
I have had fun playing with my new pretty - the Sunflower Yarn To Go Carousel these last two days. Using it at home, it worked well to unwind the yarn for the prayer shawl that I am crocheting sitting on the end table beside me or sitting on the floor beside me. That is, until the very last tiny ball and then It snagged and caught the yarn. At that point, I took the yarn off the carousel and let it run free for the last minute I needed it to before changing balls of yarn. By the way, replacing balls of yarn on the carousel it very easy!
Later on, I tried the carousel in the yarn. Tying it by the wrist strap to the corner of the sunvisor worked well for crocheting without a hitch in unwinding the yarn. However, it was in the way for the driver looking out the sideview mirrow and the movement of the hanging object was a little distracting for the driver as well. So I switched it to having the wrist strap being tucked in the door of the glove compartment. That worked much better! It still allowed for free unwinding movement of the yarn and did not distract the driver of block the side view mirror.
I just started using it and I love the way it tirns so smoothly. It is light Toft carrying in your project bag. I actually gave one to my friend and she also loves her.
This is so handy and compact to sit on a table beside me while I knit. It’s easy to take with me too.

This was my second Carousel. I love using both of them. You will never regret having the Carousel.
I didnt realize it would not work unless the yarn comes out of the middle of the yarn, but even with that it is hard to pull the yarn while knitting. Not sure if it hangs up on the spindal on the top of the carousel or what the problem is. It should work very easily but it doesnt.
But it’s very squeaky… and it’s like nails on a chalkboard to me.

All of the carousels often make a kind of rattle sound when they spin but definitely shouldn't be squeaking to where it would be bothersome.
It sounds like yours may be defective and that most definitely shouldn't have happened 😔

What are your shipping methods and times?
All packages are shipped from our hands to yours from our studio here in lovely Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊
Advent Boxes
Advent Boxes will begin shipping out the first week of November using UPS Ground shipping unless otherwise requested.
We want to make sure your box makes it safely into your hands, so if you need it delivered earlier or later, CLICKY HERE to contact us and let us know!
How are returns & exchanges handled?
We understand that sometimes you just don’t love things as much as you thought you would and are happy to accept returns or exchanges of merchandise within 30 days of your purchase, providing that your item is in its original, resalable condition.
If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, or the item has been damaged for any reason OTHER than due to our error, we’re very sorry, but we can’t accept the return.
