Replace any regular stitch marker with your row counter and knit

When you come back to the row counter move it to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle

Once you have completed the chain (or completed a pattern repeat), move the melody clip to the next number to mark 10 rows completed (or 1 pattern repeat completed)

Easier Than Using An App On My Phone
I LOVE this row counter. When it arrived, I put it on a current project—a hat using fingering-weight yearn. I have found it far easier to keep track of my rows than using an app on my phone (which either drains the battery or required me to unlock my phone each row) or the heavy Clover-twist counter (I may or may not sometimes forget to increase rows as I finish them with the Clover counter). As I finish up a row, I just slip to the next number. So far, no forgetting to increase rows. And unlike any other markers I use with lightweight yarn, there are no not-quite-closed joins for fine yarn to slip into. It's taking me a little while to get used to using this format for row tracking but I LOVE it.

Replaced My Pen & Paper Notes
I ordered these rows counters and am so glad I did! I wasn't sure if I could really replace my pen and paper notes to help me remember where I am but these markers do just that. I use them all the time and I love how thin they are. What a great system to keep me organized. I now order all of my markers from Twice Sheared Sheep. Now I Never Get Lost

I Can Just Knit And Not Try To Remember Which Row I'm On
I put mine to use right away as I am knitting a pair of socks with a 10 row rib 2x2 the knit 2 rows and start all over but offset. I had a terrible time counting 10 rows even when I would mark each row on paper. With this row marker I can just knit and not try to remember which row I am on. At my age memory is not always reliable.

It's So Easy To Pick Up Where I Left Off
I absolutely love this chain row counter! If I have to walk away from my knitting, when I come back to it a quick look at the counter tells me exactly where I am. I added a stitch marker on a melody clip to show that I'm working on section 3 of the pattern, the empty melody clip on the 1 to show that I've completed one repeat of that section and on the needles is the 2 to show that I'm on row 2. It's so easy to pick up where you leave off. And the little silver fox is adorable.

I love the circular counter, but my two complaints are that the little rings get bent very easily, especially when moving the marker and the little teapot or whatever little embellishment you choose really just seems to get in the way so I ended up taking that part off otherwise it’s super useful!

I started using the row counter on a sweater I'm working on and felt a huge sense of relief as I put aside my old counter, which required me to remember to do something after completing a row (a small task I sometimes ignored...), and just knit. No real thinking involved, just slipping my needle into the next circle available as I come back around to the row counter. I ordered more in different sizes because I want to switch all my beginning-of-row markers with these!
One, I want to say working with Twice Sheared Sheep has been a wonderful experience. Wonderful customer service, which is a last art these days! I've been putting off buying a row counter. But when I saw the cute pink dragonfly one, I had to buy a couple. My dearest friend passed away and she loved dragonflies and pink was her favorite color. She also had a dragonfly tattoo. So now I have one too a dragonfly tattoo, as several of her family and friends do. But each time I knit and use my counter I will smile and maybe have a few tears, depending on the day... When I use my pink dragonfly stitch counter!! Love it

I've knitted and crocheted for many years, after growing up with a mother who always had something going in her project basket. I used to pride myself on being great at keeping track, whichever method of row-counting I used. I also have a neat app on tablet/phone that has been a huge help with more intricate patterns. No problem.
Till about five years ago ... when Lyme Disease struck.
Suddenly, the frustration of forgetting to click the app, losing track, having trouble even seeing the work, sometimes had me on the verge of tears. Then, a friend suggested chain row counters.
"Just a gimmick," I said.
"Give it a try," friend said.
"What do I have to lose?" I finally agreed.
Well, guess what? Old fuzz-brain no longer forgets to click the app counter, hasn't lost track of what row she's on since trying the chains, and has even figured out to use cute little lobster-claw charms to add a "hundreds" place counter so she can keep going indefinitely.
I've even done a few projects with just the chain counter, not having to boot up my app at all.
These little "gimmicks" are a godsend.
I have a few of them, from various manufacturers, but then needed something for a bulky project. None of the chains I had here would fit the chubby needles. The Twice Sheared Sheep XL chain fits perfectly. It looks like it's very well-made, no snaggy edges, and nice strong links.
The same excellent quality I've found in other Twice Sheared Sheep products I've tried.
I'm eager to cast on and get back to work, with a new toy to play with.

Used this new to me item this week and love it.
I have the circle one. So happy I snagged the straight one. The quality is exceptional. It’s not too light , nor too heavy. It doesn’t snag or catch on my project either.
This beautiful piece of work is easy to use, as well as fun. I love the little decoration at the end of it. It's simple to use. All you do is slip it on the needles at any place between stitches. Then when you reach that place, you pick up the next loop and drop the previous, and voilà, you've just counted another row. It eliminates the need to remember to mark a row, and you don't have to stop knitting to mark the row. It's all done for you. Love it!!
Maybe I just don't understand how to use it, but sonfsr it doesn't work for me.

What are your shipping methods and times?
All packages are shipped from our hands to yours from our studio here in lovely Pocatello, Idaho, USA.
All packages typically ship within 1-3 business days through USPS first class mail.
Free shipping and Standard First Class packages typically take 5-7 business days to arrive in your hot little hands, but may be subject to seasonal or other delays from our lovely post office people.
This means that your package will arrive in a happy white bubble envelope in your regular mail box. 😊
Advent Boxes
Advent Boxes will begin shipping out the first week of November using UPS Ground shipping unless otherwise requested.
We want to make sure your box makes it safely into your hands, so if you need it delivered earlier or later, CLICKY HERE to contact us and let us know!
How are returns & exchanges handled?
We understand that sometimes you just don’t love things as much as you thought you would and are happy to accept returns or exchanges of merchandise within 30 days of your purchase, providing that your item is in its original, resalable condition.
