Bug Friends Odd / Even Knitting Row Counter Set
These little pint sized counters are designed especially for flat knitting so that you can always move your counter at the beginning of your row 😘
- Place 1 counter at each end of your knitting (between 2 stitches, just after your edging).
- Knit as normal.
- When starting a new row, move the counter to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle. When ending a row, pass the counter from needle to needle on the same number.
- To determine which row you are on, simply look for the highest numbered loop on a needle and that is the row.
- To count more than 10 rows, use the attached melody clip to mark the “tens” place, the number of times you have worked through the chains, or the number of pattern repeats you have completed.

I love the row counters but found them difficult to use for knitting flat items until I saw the odd/even counters made especially for knitting flat items! Yay! I love these things and this design is awesome! The enameled bee is shiny with diamond wings and the enameled ladybug is brightly colored. They are both gorgeous.

I thought one set would be enough. NOPE. I just ordered 3 some sets.
I really like these (tried them after the circular set). I actually use them in the reverse of the way Dawn explains. I worried that I would forget that with these the row indicated is the next row, so I swapped the order and mark the row just finished when starting the next row. Easier for me and I am less likely to screw things up.
