  • Knit Stripes or a Solid Color
    Requires 100-400 yards of Worsted Weight yarn total
    (Wool is recommended for warm, sledding ready mittens)

Size 8 (5mm) needles
Your choice between a 36” circular for
magic loop knitting or double pointed
needles

Gauge

20 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette in
the round

Yarn

For Solid Colored Mittens:
100-400 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn

For Striped Mittens:
50-200 yards of Worsted Weight Yarn in each of 2 colors

Recommended Yarn:
